Alexander Bronfer was born in Ukraine studied in St. Petersburg. After arriving to Israel , he lived in a kibbutz in South Israel where he fell in love with the Dead Sea region and desert. Fred Ritchin is Dean Emeritus of the International Center of Photography School. He has been picture editor of the New York Times Magazine and has curated numerous exhibitions and collaborations with humanitarian organizations. He is the author of four books on photography. His newest book, The Synthetic Eye, is forthcoming in 2024.
